The days have passed where I felt awkward with my new laptop. Struggling with the transition from apple, to what feels like some generic windows system. This new comfort comes from familiarity, perseverance, that's half the battle when getting a new device or program. It almost made me want to turn back to working on my phone. I have one of those "fancy" iphone pro max's, lol. It's huge, and I hold it in my hand like I would keys against an attacker, bc it's basically a designer metal brick. .. I digress, back to the computer. My website. It has made working on code, and design elements a dream. I use it alongside my tablet, yup, all my files are apple, and I have to sort, find, and delegate folders, send, .. the list is extensive. iykyk. It is a lot of work, that small business owners don't get a lot of recognition for. No, no we all don't pay someone to make and maintain our website.
I've tried quite a few e-commerce platforms, squarespace, wix, etsy, .. and idk if it was bc i wasn't using a computer, or if it just didn't click in my brain, but they weren't working, the struggle was real. Then during the pandemic when I started my new business using shopify it just breezed by. I'm not even kidding! there was no issues with domain, design, name, connecting platforms, accounts .. like the universe was telling me, 'this is it, I got you' .. and here I am 4 years later, business still afloat, with an amazing site that I feel reflects me, my aesthetic, and brand. I even redid my logo .. 
Yea, I didn't start with a computer, but it kerned and fine-tuned my thought processes, and I'm really proud of where it's at. I've always wanted to have multiple sections on my website, but with other platforms it just wasn't happening, again I struggled to find that sweet spot that allowed me to have all the things that were me and my business.
There is now a Tarot & Gallery section added to the site! still a wip cleaning up the backend .. alongside any left over product, jewellery, apparel, and prints. That being said, there are changes happening. My life is shifting, like many others, this is a time for big massive change! I am currently focusing on a small export of services. All leather work will be bespoke, special ordered, collaborated pieces, otherwise I'll just be making it for myself at this time. I'm offering tarot bc it doesn't need a large physical space to produce, and I've been doing it for 3/4 of my life. I'm very comfortable doing it. The Gallery is to showcase my work that I don't want to mass produce, or sell at a low discount at a market. I don't want to bargain over it's worth. I'm educated, with degrees. I'm a Fine Artist, and I'm going to be embodying that more so bc i'm tired of selling out for a few bucks at a craft sale.
Great change comes with hard decisions. BUT!! I also have a project in the works, so hang in there for the news!
